In observance of spooky season, I was commissioned to do this GHOULS GONE WILD Blu-ray package collection of three films that have nothing in common other than some shared elements of wild fantasy and horror. These movies include SCARED STIFF, THE HAUNTED COP SHOP, and MAGIC OF SPELL. So I approached it by segmenting the available real estate into thirds and color-coded each triangular section featuring five characters from each film. There's a lot of different ways to approach this concept but I went this direction on this occasion. It's energetic and busy, reflecting the chaotic nature of the films inside the box.
For the front cover of the enclosed booklet that is included inside the limited edition package, I went the 'simple graphic route' and illustrated a color-coded weapon to represent each film, as opposed to just using the actors again.
Until next time.
